H. P. Sears Company, Inc. offers very competitive rates.  Our rates are negotiable depending on the number of assignments.  In general, our contingency rates are as follows:

Retail Account Contingency Rates (Business vs. Consumer)

• Medical/Dental/Hospital Accounts - 35-40% of recovery depending on number of assignments
• Legal and Professional Services Accounts - 33.33% of recovery
• Rental Property Accounts - 40% of recovery 

Commercial Account Contingency Rates (Business vs. Business)

• Assignment amounts up to $200 - 40% of recovery
• Assignment amounts of $201-25,000 - 25% of recovery
• Assignment amounts over $25,000 - please call for a quote

Legal Referrals  

• In the event H. P. Sears Company, Inc. deems it necessary to file legal suit against a consumer, our office will advance the legal costs.  However, the client would be required to advance any and all court costs and fees if they specifically request us to pursue litigation.
  
• Accounts referred for litigation will result in a 5% or 10% increase in our contingency commission rate.
